Where Did You Come From?
Raised in St Boniface in the 1850s, Madeline was orphaned by the age of 8, and raised in an orphanage run by the Soeurs Grises (Grey Nuns). She was constantly torn between the ways of her mother’s people (Obijway) and her father’s – the French traders who built the settlement.
What Shapes You?
Madeline was murdered while in her early 20s. Her murderer, a well-respected Councilman framed a young Métis man who hung for the crime. Her restless spirit swore to aid those in danger, by whatever means left to her.

The Face at the Window
Madeline sees a young man walking the streets at night, unaware that he is being stalked by a loup garou gang, and tries to warn him. After seeing Madeline try to warn the man, Julian tries to help by luring away some of the gang, using his strange luck to escape. In the wrong place, at the wrong time, Christian is set upon by a pack of loup garou. He gives them more than bloody noses and goes on his way.
